Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Play a round through the alphabet from A to Z with playful rhymes about golf basics such as I is for iron shot and F is for flagstick. Learn all that is golf while reading the detailed text in the sidebars that accompany each poem. Both novice and seasoned golfers are introduced to the equipment, history, famous courses, and top-notch players. Realistic illustrations bring vivid colors, natural setting, and fun to the great game of golf and to those who "tee it up!" Whether child or adult, every golfer will love this book!

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Great book for girls and boys!   September 30, 2007
Montana Native (Wheaton, IL)
I bought this book for my brother-in-law to have at his house to read to my daughter when she visits...I was hesitant that it would be too "boy-ish". What a great surprise that this book's illustrations bring the game of golf alive for both genders of all ages. Great find!

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful Alphabet Books   June 11, 2007
K. Row (Clovis, CA)
This review is for all of the Sleeping Bear Press alphabet books, including this one. These gems are terrific on many levels. The illustrations are captivating, and the narratives are accessible to emerging as well as fluent readers. And the topics are always of high interest. Good job, Sleeping Bear!
