Many of the experiments do require adult supervision due to the complexity of some of the experiments that require multiple steps. my eight year old got this when she was 7. she loves it. nice pictures and explanations. Needs parental supervision of course. I would recommend this book if your child loves science. fun family bonding time! Teaches children science concepts in a fun way!
