5 out of 5 stars Dr. Seuss is awesome   August 23, 2010

Great collection of wonderful stories by the amazing Dr. Seuss!!! I bought this for my baby so that he will be able to grow up hearing and reading Dr. Seuss's silly rhymes starting before his birth. :) It's a great way to get several books in one place at an unbelievable price!

5 out of 5 stars money well spent on seuss favorites   August 15, 2010

this book is a great addition to any seuss collection. instead of purchasing 13 books you get them really for the price of about 2.

3 out of 5 stars one big book   July 1, 2010

My 15 month old loves Dr. Seuss so we thought this would be great. Unfortunately, we didn't realize it was one big book - we thought it was 13 individual books. It is too cumbersome to read with a toddler so we are returning it.

4 out of 5 stars so much dr. seuss!   June 28, 2010

Well I love Dr. Seuss and I dont own any of the books. I just kept on going to the library for it. Having all of them in one book is very handy and the price was fabulous. My favorite story has always been the Sneetches. But it also includes "Green Eggs and Ham" , "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" , "Horton Hears A Who" and all the ohter Dr. Seuss Classics that you simply have to have. If you dont like one, just skip to the next..!

The only thing I didnt like is that the pictures are smaller and a little closer together then I like. But then again it is so many stories in one book and it is already thick enough. Then again, so many stories for this price, how could I not buy it? I suppose if you already have half of the books, its not very smart to buy it but for me this was simply the best way to get as much of Dr. Seuss as possible.

Dr. Seuss books are very easy to read and therefore encourages your child to learn how to read (or introduce the English language if it isnt your kid's first language). As I said before, I am happy with the book because it gives you 13 stories and some other material about Dr. Seuss for a very small price. The only down-side is that it is a heavy book and the pictures are very crammed together. Im sure everyone feels different about that.

4 out of 5 stars Good buy   May 21, 2010

I agree with some reviewers that it is too big to be comfortable reading it on a chair.
However - having all of the stories in one book makes it worth it. We lay on the floor with the book open in front of us and it is great.
