| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description "Everyone Poops by Taro Gomi is part biology textbook, part sociological treatise and all celebration of a very natural process. Both my daughters begged me to read the book over and over again. They marveled at the enormity of the elephant's poop and searched with the skill of a scientist for the tiny specks which represent bug poop. The text is simple and straightforward but not without humor.

High comedy for young boys but not much educational value July 14, 2008 J. Castle (Roseburg, Oregon United States) We bought this during the potty training period for our two sons. Unlike most books that are dipped in PC language and child psychology, this book cuts right to the chase. The father smokes a pipe. The baby has his legs splayed right open. And there's poop. Lots of it.
This is high comedy for young boys. I'm not sure if there's much long-term education value but our kids liked the book and it made them laugh.
I'd have given it four stars if the book had offered a conclusion that either (1) left my kids with a message or (2) provided me with a better springboard to discuss potty training.
Everyone Poops July 2, 2008 Leilani L. Little (PA, USA) arrived in good time and the cover was in good shape, the inside seemed to have some sort of printing defect; there were white smudges here and there on a few of the pages but ultimately did not affect the pictures or readability.
Her favorite (and I am so over it)! June 24, 2008 Laurel Opgaard (Topeka, Kansas) Plan on reading this one A LOT. One of the first pieces of "Potty Propaganda" we exposed our daughter to, it quickly became her favorite. We read some and she fills in the blanks..."Different kinds of animals have different kinds of_________________", she shrieks, "POOP!!!"
That being said, I believe she has practically named all of the poops in the book. The Rhino makes a meatball poop, etc. Also, we changed the words JUST a little bit so it says "Some children poop in the potty and BABIES poop in their diapers." Obviously, she doesn't want to be a baby. All in all, its our go-to potty book that we read constantly. Definitely worth the money.
Love this book! June 11, 2008 J. Duhon (Lewisville, TX United States) Very humerous and fun to read, especially if you are potty training! Two thumbs up! Its also funny to watch the grandparents read it to the grandkids. ;o)
love this book :) May 4, 2008 Smeggy (Collingswood NJ) this book is great for kids AND adults. I read it as a child & loved it and I still read it to this day. i suggest reading it while on the can. It really helps facilitate things, if you know what i mean.....
