Product Description "I think it's probably safe to say, given when you should have landed, that you're...um...""Tell me!" "I think, right now, you're the king of England."
Thirteen-year-olds Jonah and Chip are reeling from the news that they're both missing children from history, kidnapped from their proper time period. Before they can fully absorb this revelation, a time purist named JB zaps Chip and another boy, Alex, back to the fifteenth century, where they supposedly belong. Determined not to lose their friends, Jonah and his sister, Katherine, grab Chip's arms just as he's being sent away. The result? Jonah and Katherine also end up in the fifteenth century, where they decidedly do not belong. Chip's true identity is Edward V, king of England, and Alex is his younger brother, Richard, Duke of York. But Chip is convinced that his uncle, Richard of Gloucester, plans to kill them and seize the throne for himself. JB promises that if the kids can "fix time," he will allow them to return to the present day. But how can they possibly return home safely when history claims that Chip and Alex were murdered? In a riveting tale that climaxes on the battlefield at Bosworth, master storyteller Margaret Peterson Haddix brings readers back in time to an unforgettable moment in history and plunges them into the adventure of a lifetime.

sent, the second book in this great series August 13, 2010 This book adds a lot of suspense to the series. It follows the story , of the boys in the Tower of London, with an added twist that changes the whole direction of the story. It leaves you wondering: what will Jonah and Meg do? Will they be able to save Chip and Alex?
"sent" to write this review August 3, 2010 William P. Thompson (floridadays) this book is filled with drama and mystery! it is frightening and fills your imagination with wonder! as i was reading i felt scared for litte Jonah and his sister and friend as they faced and conquered multiple challeges with bravery! as a respectable, law abiding person i thought that the sneaking around and the lies that were told through out the course of the story were not ideal and not a good example for youth to be seeing! but overall it was a charming book for adventuresome tykes between the ages of 9 and 12! not for those who dont like thrills and mystery though!
One of the best books I've read! March 28, 2010 Hooked on Haddix I was bored so I picked up several books and read the first couple of pages. I was bored with the first 2-3 that I picked up. When I got Found I was almost about to give up looking for a book. I began reading it and could NOT stop reading it! I went home and read it a few hours and was done with it the next day. I went to Amazon and ordered SENT again, I was so hooked! I couldn't put the book down. I had to find out what was going to happen. I was never bored reading any of it. Haddix is an amazing writer. I had not read any of her books, but now I'm going to order the rest of her books. I've been telling everyone I know about he book, trying to get them to read it.
A good book February 27, 2010 C. Harvey This book is great! I read the first one a year ago and waited for the second to come to the library but I could not wait any longer so I bought it today.
I finished it in about three hours :)
This series is historical and Sci-Fi all in one. The science fiction is relativly factual. Though we know little about time travel the general concept of how each pebble out of place could affect the future is a common factor. The historical factors are also very much accurate.
I enjoyed this book more than the first one because the first book explained the concept of the series more. This one was more into the general plot which it appears to be how the next book will probably go, but in a diffrent time period. :)
This book is in the independent reader section of borders and I am most certainly a young adult/adult reader but this book was good and I enjoyed its concepts. It makes you think. I feel it should probably be in young adult because the concepts where hard to grasp at first though the vocabulary was not hard.
If you like Sci-Fi you will enjoy this series. If you like historical fiction I recommend you suffer through the more Sci-fi first book to reach the historical aspects of the second and probably third...
Have fun reading!
PS Totally worth it to just buy the hardback copy rather than wait
