Artist Sandra Boynton has been charming adults for decades with her whimsical, animal-centric greeting cards and her droll sense of humor. When Boynton transferred her weirdly wonderful critters to board books for babies, she made publishing history. These short, hilarious books are perfectly suited to toddler tastes, with their small size, few words, cheerful colors, funny jokes, and silly animals. Blue Hat, Green Hat is all about getting dressed, and stars a very silly turkey who just doesn't get it. (Feet in the hat, pants on the head, etc.) His continuing refrain is "Oops." Moo, Baa, LA LA LA! investigates the sounds animals make, including pigs who sing. Doggies is "a counting and barking book" about the many sounds dogs can make, and A to Z frolics through the alphabet with amusing animal antics from an aardvark admiring to a zebra zigzagging. So fun. Easy to read, engaging illustrations, and the rhymes are unique and entertaining, even for adults. I have nearly *all* Ms. Boynton's books, they're all winners! And the binding on these is quite long-lasting, as well.

My 2 year old son just loves these! Not only did he love listening to them, but now, he "reads" them to me!! I am so proud of him that he is able to read them, almost word for word, but that is to Boynton's credit. Voice Lessons To Go v.1-4 The Complete Set

I have a two year old and she has been reading Sandra Boynton books since she was 6 months old. She wants to read them over and over and they are always on top on her picks for bedtime or anytime. I have memorized several of the books (they are so fun and rhyme) and I can recite the words while she looks at them in the car or any place that I can't sit down and read to her. My 2 year old isn't far from having them memorized either!

Great for my 1.5-2 year old, then she got a little tired of them because we read them so much. My newest 8 month old has tested their durability extensively and showed that they hold up well to drool, chewing, throwing, and getting crawled/walked on. My daughter LOVED Blue Hat, Green Hat when I added "silly turkey" at the end of each page. she would crack up and repeat "silly turkey"
