Don't bump the Glump August 29, 2008 G. Madsen (California) This author is hilarious for his silly and humorous storytelling. I had heard of this book and decided to purchase it and donate it to a non-profit organization for their fundraiser. Sharing books for me either in reading to my children and grandchildren or giving them away as gifts is something that brings me joy.
A Classic! July 7, 2008 H. P. Zeiger (Denver CO USA) The original publication was a big hit with our kids. The re-publication was a pleasant surprise - in time for the next generation. Great if you like Siverstein's goofy humor.

I ordered four books, Don't Bump the Glump, by Shel Silverstein. They arrived in about three days from ordering and the price was wonderful.
A Book of Monsters May 14, 2008 Mockingbird (Louisiana) 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
My daughter's favorite poet is Shel Silverstein. Since she now has a two-year-old son, I thought this would be the perfect book for them to share. I was wrong. Although my daughter is happy to have it, my grandson doesn't like monsters at all. My guess is that he will be able to appreciate it when he is several years older.
